I wire wheeled them clean, coated them with a thin layer of crisco, and baked them on Dad’s gas grill for an hour at 375 ish. Still using them today. If there was any significant rust or pitting on my Lodge, I wouldn’t bother. New ones are $20-30 at Bass Pro.
