WebThe taken blights have always been the one that no one else could seem to help with, even in vanilla D2 with potential exotics, and better rewards for heroic completion. WebIt really sucks when you're alone in an area in the dreaming city trying to do a public event for a bounty when the enemies move against each other on top of your public event. WebDestroy every orb before it reaches a servitor. After destroying all ether orbs, the event will become heroic Rift generator event I have tried many times and I believe the way to trigger a heroic is to kill the 3 abominations and destroy the blights that spawn. At this point 3 Taken wizards will spawn which will also need to be destroyed.

Doing it Heroic involves getting a buff from walking in and out of the taken bubbles to allow you to shoot the big Taken orb in the sky, then killing the boss that spawns.
