WebOct 20, 2024 · I suggest you put a scanner on it and pull codes when it sets that light. Its the PCM's way of letting you know transmission fault codes have been set. It could be any number of things, including the vehicle speed sensor, so yes it's probably caused by that - pulling codes will help narrow that down more. Jun 12, 2016. WebNov 30, 2024 · Actually an E4OD is controlled by the computer. Thus the "E" for Electronic. The E4OD is fully controlled by the computer via solenoids. And yes the 91 up Broncos used the E4OD. I would check codes and fluid condition first. If there are no codes and the fluid is clean try a bottle of Red lube guard. It will work wonders. WebJun 29, 2014 · The center of the mlps turns with the shifter. Turn the center shaft untill the indicator shows N with key on. Look at the mlps, the should be one raised ridge on the part that does not turn and one on the center that turns. These should line up. Limp in this trans is normal shifting times but hard shifting.
