The 3rd and 4th time on the plane mission I'd got all the targets and ran out of fuel on the way back. Damn those planes are twitchy.

You had to take out the targets in a certain order and rely on gliding/coasting to maintain fuel. Pretty sure I finished with a sliver of fuel left. It wasn't easy, but it was possible.
